Vaporizers. And Clones. Also, did you know you can mix and match?!?!

So, I've been vaping instead of smoking since my bitty twin was released from the NICU more than 2 years ago.
This post was originally written in 2017, not posted.
In that time, I've gone through 6(now 12) devices.
I started with a kangertech subvod. It was pretty straightforward. Worked amazingly well for months. Then, the battery pack died.
Before it died i bought a random zebrasmoke ecig off a Groupon deal. It was ok for a backup, but frankly, it sucked. Badly. And fell completely apart the first day i carried it as main vape.
Next i got a subvod mega tc. It didn't last much longer than the first, although, it had the added bonus that could use both tanks on the battery pack.
I also got an endura tc, to have as backup. It works fairly well, but is not my favorite, as i had to run a lower vg juice.
After that i got a lovely KangerTech mod, the SUBOX MINI kit.
It worked well enough, but wasn't exactly drop resistant. Which is very important when  you have small children, and are a klutz. It did survive about 6 months of use, and then the works actually fell out through the battery door.
I'm really really hard on everything i own.
So, i had 3 KangerTech tanks, and no batteries or mods.
The store i bought the first and last KangerTech peices from stopped carrying the brand!
I had to find a replacement.
I bought an eleaf istick pick from the same little vape shop.
It was great, although the woman there told me i couldn't run it at my normal wattage( between 7-18)
It does work at those levels, you just have to think cigar, not cigarette 😂
TBH, i totally love this thing. But, buying another from the shop, not happening. I'm cheap. 80$ for a setup is just a bit steep for me, so i bought a clone off eBay as a backup. I also ordered glass for my tank, and a few atomizer cartridges for good measure.
Next day, my glass busts all to peices. None of the shops in town have the particular size i need!
So, i pull out my KangerTech tanks, and my final, sad, ragged atomizer i used to test an awful juice a few months back.

It worked!
That is to say, KangerTech top fill tanks and the melo 3 tank are interchangeable! I was able to use it on my eleaf mod.
Now, let's talk the clone.
It is slightly less polished and pretty than the real thing. But, it gets the job done. Hits the same, and honestly, if i didn't know it was fake, i wouldn't believe it. If you want to try the style, a cheap clone is a great way to get into it, though you should always support the designers and buy the real thing where you can!

Let's talk time.
KangerTech Subvod gave me 4-5 hours of consistent use after the first month, and didn't decline much after that.

KangerTech Subvod Mega TC gave me 8-10 hours of consistent use, 4 of heavy, and all day if i wasn't using it a lot.

Zebrasmoke ecig gave me 30 minutes of consistent use. Heavy use wasn't possible. It overheated too quickly. With minimal use it was dead in 4 hours.

Endura TC gave me the same results as the Subvod, with slightly better battery life, but again, no max vg juices.

KangerTech SUBOX MINI gave me all day of moderate use on one charge, and i could run anything in it.

Eleaf istick pico gives me 2 days light use. 1.5 days of moderate use, and a full day of heavy use.
That is with either the melo 3 mini, or the KangerTech tanks.
The clone has the same battery life, though i cannot yet speak to it's durability.

My only complaint about the eleaf Pico is that when i drop it the bottom comes unscrewed, which is... Really annoying.

All of these products were used with Max VG juices between 6mg and 15mg nicotine.
Almost all of them were used with 12mg exclusively, my own root beer float mix.

Now. This is a year later. The clone died an incredible death. So sad.
It shorted out, and caught fire. Another Tesla mod I had around the same time did the same thing, and it wasn't a clone. I've replaced the Tesla mod (60w), and no issues for the last 6 months
My original KangerTech tank died a sad death, due to rusting. Yeah, it can happen.
I still have the other 2, and they still work well, minimum leaking.
I've since bought a coral tank. HATED IT.. in order to refill it I had to take out the atomizer. Which is a no go for me.  also a few random straight shooter style e-cigs. They make me very sad.
I had a vision diy 80 mod that I adored, worked like a charm, and have recently passed on to a friend.
My newest toy is a Smok priv V8.  Not sure how I feel about it. The tank is fantastic. No pulling out pliers because oops, screwed it on too tight. It has a slide top that sort of locks in place. I'm not excited about the lack of controls over the wattage though. It would be great if I was a beginner. I'm not.

Vaping is a journey. If you are just starting out, please skip the all in ones. They might turn you off to the whole experience.

I'm sure I'll write more on this topic, and hopefully actually review the individual mods/aios, and tanks I've used in the past 2 years.

PURA D'OR Anti-Hair Loss Premium Organic Argan Oil Shampoo (Gold Label) 0☆

I really hated this shampoo.

I lost a significant amount of hair just using it, and my hair stuck together badly. like, I had to wash my hair 3 times with another shampoo, and then leave conditioner in for 20 minutes just to detangle it. It left it straw-like.
I tried it again the next day, thinking it was maybe a fluke, and I had something in my hair that reacted badly with it. No luck.
Day three, I tried once more, on just one spot, because I'm a bit nuts, and like to actually give something a good try before saying it was awful. NOPE.
My hair is... not average. its bleached, and dyed random rainbow colors most of the time. It's very coarse, but not horribly damaged, as I don't use heat on it. This shampoo left it looking, and feeling like I have been using a blow dryer on high, followed by a hot iron without protectant.
This shampoo was just horrible. It has taken 3 months for my hair to recover from it, 3 months for the bits that fell out completely to grow back out.

The hair at the nape of my neck broke off unevenly on the 4th day, that I did NOT use the shampoo, and I ended up shaving the bottom 3 inches. Well, undercuts are in luckily.

I will say this, I was thoroughly impressed with how quickly an "anti-hair-loss" shampoo caused me to lose my hair. It takes doing. Even double strength ion bleach with level 40 developer for an HOUR didn't mess my hair up that badly. A perm post bleaching, well, that was right on par.

Don't get me wrong, I don't think its a bad shampoo. My parents loved it. My husband said meh, and my brother said whatever, its shampoo. None of them have horribly processed hair.

If you do, I'd just steer clear of this shampoo.

If you have normal, not overprocessed hair, here is the link.

Yodel battery powered led light 7.5☆

So, this is a nice little, very bright led light. Somehow, over the course of the first day it was home, it became one of my 1yo's favorite toys. As such, I can assure the world, this is a very, very sturdy little camping light. It has been thrown down onto a tile floor, innumerable times, chewed on, fought over, and I retrieved it from the dog on several occasions. It's been on about 60 hours, on the same set of batteries(cheap dollar store batteries at that) and I don't notice any dimming.
I intend to place this in my emergency stash once my son has tired of it, as with what it has already experienced, I'm quite sure it could survive just about anything. It is small, but bright enough that while it does not totally illuminate a large room, it does make it possible to see everything, assuming you function well in low light. I'm seriously considering buying another one for emergencies.
Please consider that although it looks rather large in my son's hand, he's under 30 lbs.

I got this at a discount, in exchange for an honest review.+

Vulcan Journey 7" and various accessories 7☆

Note: all of this cost less than $55 together.
I was apprehensive about buying a windows tablet. I was afraid the small form factor would reduce it's usability, that it wouldn't be able to connect more than one Bluetooth peripheral at a time, and in the case of this particular tablet, that I would be unable to find a case that fit it.
This tablet is not super touch responsive. It's hard to do anything intricate with it, and the small form factor DOES actually effect it's usability. However, after a bit of tweaking, finding the perfect case, and a Bluetooth mouse....
I have a tiny, perfectly functional laptop that fits in my purse, can sync files from my gaming laptop and my desktop, and I can play games from both of them on it with a screen viewer, from anywhere(using my phone as a hotspot)
Honestly, I bought this because I was curious about Windows in small form, as I usually use android or Linux based os for my raspberry pi experiments, phones, and tablets.
I was impressed. For the price, this is probably the best you can get. And for another $10 I got an M-edge case, this case fits my tablet very well. It's super secure, and only a little larger than the case for my kindle. The Bluetooth keyboard it comes equipped with is absolutely amazing, and brought the function of my tablet way up.I love that the keyboard area is magnetic, so if I forget to close it and it swings open, the keyboard doesn't hit the floor.
I also bought a Tonor Bluetooth mouse. Of these items, it was the only one I received any kind of discount for.
It is tiny, lightweight, comfortable to hold, and while it uses AAA batteries instead of being rechargeable, I have not had to replace them yet, and it is very responsive.
The little tablet is as a tablet, a failure, pending the download of new drivers. But, as a tiny laptop it is amazing, and it can do anything a laptop with similar specs (1gb ram, quad core) can.
There is a lot of function packed into this tiny tablet, and I expect to see great things from Vulcan Electronics!

Rajrang Wrap Around Skirt Wholesale Printed Reversible Two Layer 9☆

I bought a set of 10 and I absolutely adore them.
They fit amazingly well at the waist, and fall to mid calf (keep in mind I'm 5'8" and 220 16/18 dress size) I have about 8 inches of overlap.
I got gorgeous patterns, and 4 of the 10 are being given as gifts to various friends and family. Mostly the ones with gold, as that is a color that looks horrible with my undead pallor (seriously though, I'd make a vampire look tan)
One I received was ripped, however wevez immediately sent through a refund on that one. I'm very happy with my purchase, and hope to buy more at a later date.
It's not just me who loves them either. They make the perfect princess gowns for the tot!
With a bit of creative draping, these can be anything you want!
I paid for these with an amazon gift card I received from screenwise trends, and out of pocket. No discount.

I can't vouch for all the sellers of this product, only wevez.

MoKo kids headphones 8☆

These are super cute, fairly durable kids headphones. They have a volume limiter, which is amazing when you have a small child who likes to fiddle with volume settings constantly. My daughter adores these. She is a major Pokémon fan, and she is convinced this is a Pikachu bunny on the side. The cord disconnects completely, and you can plug a second pair of headphones into the outgoing port on the headset. There is no mic, but that's not really a deal breaker. The sound quality is fine. Not high end gaming headset quality, obviously, but, I don't really expect that for 11$ The best part about these headphones? I no longer have to listen to the "Pokémon Mystery Dungeon special" five times a day. I received these at a discount off amazon, for review.
